This place is great. location is optimal between Castries and Rodney Bay. 4 King Bedrooms with ensuite bathrooms/showers. Outside there are spectacular grounds with a small play field, many paths, a salt water infinity pool overlooking the mouth of Rodney Bay a Hot Tub and it is all secured by a robust security fence. There is a local beach just down the hill that has almost no traffic and no vendors or otherwise bothersome people. We swam, fished, hung out it was very pleasant to have a four beaches in such close proximity that you (or someone with basic fitness) can walk to in 3-7 minutes depending upon which one you choose. The concierge can help book cars from the airport or to many places (like Rodney Bay for beach or restaurant, like Castries for trip to the market or to sight see elsewhere on the island). We had a rental car but I think having a driver take us made more sense for us. There is a supermarket about 10 minutes drive away. If you need something else just ask and they fetch it for you, or can help you find it, they actually helped us to find a hardware store during our stay. Back to the house, the house is on a peak overlooking the entrance to Rodney Bay but you have a full view from Castries all the way to Rodney Bay. Due to the location we did not find insects bothersome because there was always a breeze blowing lightly in some direction. Each bedroom has a AC unit along with a great bed. There is a TV and it has cable available but we did not use it much...it has Netflix also. The kitchen is fantastic and the house staff were very nice in helping with delicious food during the day and even made something we could warm in the evening. Prior to our arrival the concierge got a list from us and provisioned the house, it was perfect. We had a chef cater a meal one night for a special dinner and it was great, especially Nikki, Catherine, Gregory, Karen We would love to come back and stay and feel this would be the perfect place. We love finding new spots but the quiet, serenity, service, location, house, views, etc were so great that I feel this is a place we would love to visit again! Thank you to everyone and especially to the owners for sharing it with us!

Gorgeous Morne Trulah!!

As I was shoveling almost 8” of snow I thought of where I was one week ago….spending the week at lovely Morne Trulah! Morne Trulah exceeded our expectations in so many ways. It is absolutely lovely and the views are just stunning—the pictures cannot do it justice! The pool was fantastic, the grounds gorgeous and the privacy you have is absolutely refreshing. From the onset, Michael was a terrific host, reaching out and sharing information on the house and the island. Sherma, our concierge, was so helpful in developing an itinerary for our stay and booked all activities, drivers, and dinners based on our interests and input. Catherine and Sherman were amazing and made sure all our needs were met—they were so personable and friendly! Make sure you do the catamaran trip (private, if possible) with the sulphur springs and waterfall, rainforest tram/zip-lining, and Pigeon Island. Fast Track going through customs when you land in St. Lucia is a must and saves a ton of time!! Great home in which to spend our vacation!

The property is large with several places to spend time in the sun or shade. You can easily enjoy family time or quiet solitude. Villa is well laid out with four king bed on-suites and common areas inside and out. We tended to spend most of our time on the sun deck above the pool or the round table just off the kitchen. Michael, the host, was incredibly responsive to any questions I had leading up to the trip and gave me a great sense of calm when travel to another country is so challenging. The concierge, Sherma was great and communicated well, and set us up on some fun adventures when we wanted. I recommend a day on the catamaran down to the Pitons. That was an amazing day. The house staff, Katherine and Dorit were amazing. Great breakfasts provided every morning and just such warm and wonderful people. We spent at least half our time just chilling at the villa and did other partial day outings on the other days. For dinners, you have to have Chef Didier cook for you. We had him twice, and those were our best meals; Simply fantastic. Food overall on the island was of much higher quality than I expected. All in all, a wonderful trip and my thanks to the host and staff for making such great memories for me and my family.

Nature and luxury coincide

If you want your party to be part of a nature based luxury and have privacy, with the exception of an attentive day staff and easily accessible property manager, then this is the answer to your prayers. It is like being on top of the island. Terrific views from every angle. Birds, indigenous lizards, and sounds of the rainforest accent the beautiful scenery. Flowers, fruit, and trees are all around left us in awe. The infinity pool, hammocks, lounging beds, swing, ah! Wonderful. If possible rent your own vehicle, but be aware the roads are steep, curvy, and fast... and steers on the right. If you are doubtful, even a little, leave it to the professionals/skilled. You'll pay a pricey fee due to high gas prices, but it's worth the safety.

Morne Trulah was the most amazing place on the whole island. My fiancé and I explored the whole island, hiked the Pitons, but we both agree the best part of the trip was the estate. I even proposed by the pool. Thanks again!

This property is absolutely amazing and the grounds are immaculate! The pictures do not do it justice! We spent nine amazing days here. The only issue was, when it was time to leave we wanted more days! Sherman was absolutely a jewel and took amazing care of us. The house staff, Catherine, Sharon, Luciana, and another sweet lady were the kindest people and made amazing meals!!! Concierge was easy to deal with in pre-planning all of our excursions, food, and anything and everything we desired! I cannot say enough kind words to describe Sherman to all of us! By the end of the trip he became like family to us! He took us to different beaches, toured the property with us and educated us allot about all the different flowers, shared island stories with us. You could feel his pride his island! The owners Michael and Brad are very efficient in all communications! We can’t wait to go back next year!

Words just can’t do this home justice...it is truly a one of a kind property. I have rented many homes in numerous countries and this is by far the most incredible. The home sits on a massive oceanfront property with post card views of the Caribbean and incredible sunsets. Mature tropical landscaping throughout makes you feel like you are in your own private jungle. The swimming pool was perfect for afternoon dips and offered amazing ocean views. The home itself was very comfortable and well stocked with everything we could have asked for and the owner was so friendly and accommodating. Just when we thought it couldn’t get any better, the house staff showed up for daily cleanings and to cook us breakfast every morning. They were so helpful in making suggestions and arrange it anything we needed, from transportation to local beaches and recommendations for the best restaurants. The week flew by and we all can’t wait to come back. If you are going to St. Lucia, you need to rent this house. Trust me, you will not be disappointed.

Relaxing retreat during COVID

What a perfect place to stay during COVID. We only were able to stay one week, so we weren’t able to leave quarantine but what a great place to be quarantined! The gardens, the pool, the house, we didn’t need more. Margueritte was wonderful and so knowledgeable! She booked our required COVID tests for our return home, stocked the house with groceries, arranged our helicopter transport to and from the airport, booked a private chef one night, booked us on 2 excellent COVID-certified boat tours with Captain Joe on Salty Boat Charters, and arranged all of our taxi trips! Sherman was excellent! If you need anything, talk to Sherman! The housekeepers, Catherine and Sharon, were wonderful too! We were so thrilled to get to try both of their authentic St. Lucian cuisine. What a treat! The owner, Michael, is also great to work with!

The property is stunning. With the views, the trade winds, the beautiful gardens, and the lovely home, you never really want to leave. But when you do, St Lucia provides a warm welcome at every turn and we enjoyed the beaches, sailing, the mineral and mud baths and local restaurants. But the real stunner here is this amazing house in a perfect location. Michael and the staff at Morne Trulah were helpful and warm at every turn and made sure every part of our stay was perfect (even accommodating our vegetarian, gluten free and dairy free daughter at meals!). It was a wonderful escape and we can’t wait for the chance to return.

I probably don't need to repeat what has been said before, but the entire property is amazing. This is a perfect house both for gathering with your group and for relaxing in privacy. There are several entertaining areas and a kitchen equipped for a chef as well as multiple spots on the grounds to relax alone in nature with gorgeous views. The house staff and property manager were friendly and helpful. We enjoyed everything from our eggs and bacon to St. Lucian salt fish and bakes prepared in the morning. We got a bit lost on our initial drive in without exact directions on which road to take to the house, but once we found our way, getting in and out via cab throughout the rest of the week was easy. My only complaint is that we had too much fun exploring the island and didn't get enough time to truly enjoy relaxing on the property. Can't wait to return.

This is a lovely escape, a great property with lots of amenities and even more charm! The staff, Katherine and Sherman, were so wonderful we regretted not being able to take them with us! The house is tucked away behind some real St.Lucian living, but also close (by car) to grocery and other shops. Driving was a must for us, but it is not for the faint of heart on this island. The massive mosquito nets in the bedrooms are awesome. Reduit beach is great on non-cruise ship days, you can rent a host of stuff there and eat decent food; Trouya beach is very close (warm waters!) We really appreciated the owner's personal recommendations on where to dine and such, as they were spot on. A never-ending supply of towels was also terrific! highly recommend!

Morne Trulah - An oasis in an incredible, historic location!

We spent our last few nights in St. Lucia here, and will have a lifetime of memories as a result. The property itself is incredible, with panoramic views of the ocean, Martinique, Pigeon Island, and the coastline. This is truly outdoor luxury living. There are four secure, private, air-conditioned bedrooms, each with a private bath. They are connected via a covered, but open-air common area, which leads to a (also covered) outdoor kitchen and dining area. As wonderful as the villa itself is, the grounds are even more spectacular! It's clear that it has been a labor of love for the owners as they have renovated the home and grounds, which sit on the (still visible) ruins of the fort used by the French during battles with the British in the 1800s. The staff prepared breakfast for us each morning, and brought fresh fruit and coconuts from the bountiful fruit trees on the property. Sharon even made us some breadfruit (try it!) and helped our girls add some "cornrows" to their hair. Matthew and Zaneia were very communicative as property managers, too, and helped us feel right at home. Although you may never feel the need to leave the beautiful gated grounds and pool, there are lots of things to do in the area - Reduit Beach, Pigeon Island National Park, water sports, etc. are all just a few minutes away by car, and there are excellent grocery stores within 10 minutes, too. If you are staying in the north, it's worth a visit to the south (Pitons, etc.), too, and you can easily get a "water taxi" from Reduit Beach to take you there in 30-40 min (much quicker than the 90 minute drive, though it's a beautiful drive through the mountains, too). Can't say enough good things about Morne Trulah and St. Lucia - thanks for a great stay!

Kathy, (maid and morning cook) all food was great and house and quarters very clean. I recommend this place to everyone. Its perfect for 4 couples to enjoy or and family of 8. Views are to die for and hospitality is impeccable. Hope to return in the near future soon. Easy access to town to the north for shopping, dinning and a casino. What do we say about the paradise that was Morne Trouya? Lovely, lovely place. The pictures truly do not do the site and the house justice. The views are breathtaking. Four private master suites with baths (and air conditioning). Each room has a spectacular view! It is close to Rodney Bay. Just a quick 10 minute drive to many restaurants and shopping. Concierge is a wonderful resource take her suggestions on tours and restaurants. We loved our outings with Shall. Delightful man, personable and knowledgable about the island. After he toured us to the waterfall on Wednesday, we rode horses with him on Saturday. Frances was also perfect for my husband and sons' climb up the Piton. He shared so much of the history of the island, while all the time coaching them to a safe climb. The house staff were excellent! Sherman, Sharon and Katherine were so pleasant and there whenever we needed anything…and not there when we needed privacy. Just perfect. They prepared a lovely breakfast each morning. Sherman spear fishes for lobster and will catch some for you to prepare if you want. The only thing I would change about our visit would have been to extend it to two weeks instead of one.

For anyone wondering if this home could be as wonderful as the reviews say, stop wondering. Our family (two parents with three adult children and their spouses) just spent a glorious week at Morne Trulah. We arrived a family of 8 and feel as if our family grew during our stay and that we had to leave new family members there when we traveled home. To Michael and Brad, thank you for sharing your home and your people. They are all amazing. Margueritte was so helpful and just lovely every step of the way. There are several others that worked very hard to make our stay perfect. Sherman was on the spot with anything we needed to know how to operate, etc., and we all completely fell in love with Catherine. She is a true gem. As my daughter-in-law said, her breakfasts taste like rainbows and glitter. As far as the actual home, the location is breathtaking. The en suite bedrooms are all so lovely, it was hard for us to choose which one we wanted. The kitchen is professional grade and the living and dining areas are large and were very comfortable for our group. There were so many places to be together or sneak away to a quiet spot for some reading or napping. We enjoyed the villa so much, we found it hard to go sightsee for very long! We will treasure the memory of this week always.

We were warmly greeted upon arrival and given a short tour. The property is one of a kind and breathtakingly beautiful. We fell in love instantly with everything about this Home. There are clear and pristine views from any of the 4 suites and the open water views from the open kitchen and dining area are perfect for viewing sunsets. There is a large Common area with multiple sliding doors that open the walls completely so you can enjoy the steady breezes all day. Several lush gardens adorn the property with a large selection of fruit and nut trees along with too many species of flowers to count. Hummingbirds are a daily visitor and a pleasure to observe. The infinity pool and surrounding area is tranquil and private. There is also the largest Crochet court I’ve ever seen so we all had to learn how to play and it was actually a lot of fun. It was truly a joy to wake up there every morning and walk the grounds while enjoying the silence, nature and first cup of coffee. Sherman the on-site gardener is so nice and helpful yet unobtrusive. He is definitely an asset to the property and you can tell he really loves the property and his job. Overall this was by far the best vacation spot I’ve ever experienced as I am a well traveled scuba diver. I didn’t get the opportunity to dive this trip but the nearby beach is nice for snorkeling and sunbathing. We did rent a car and were able to drive into Rodney Bay for groceries and we did excursions but we really did NOT want to even leave the property. You feel like you are in your own little world at Morne Trulah and we can’t wait to make it back there again. Mike and Brad, thank you so much for having us in your Home and we will remember it forever. I would highly recommend this property for anyone visiting St Lucia. You will not be disappointed. This property is absolutely amazing! The rooms are spacious, beds extremely comfortable. AC in each room keeps you comfortable at night. The kitchen is well stocked with any appliance you could want. The housekeepers were gracious enough to make us breakfast and lunch every day which really made us feel spoiled! The groundskeepers brought us fresh fruit every day, and Chad even climbed a tree and knocked down some coconuts to bring us fresh coconut water! The infinity pool was by far my favorite part. The views and sunsets are just stunning. We played croquet a few times and Nicky came over to give us some pointers. If considering the private chef for dinner, HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!! It is definitely worth the price. Best meal we had on St Lucia! Everything about Morne Trulah was fantastic! There were four of us in our group, and we definitely talked about coming back with more friends. We were looking for a comfortable home away from home and found it at Morne Trulah Estate. The property is exactly as described with beautiful grounds, an incredible infinity pool, and a gormet kitchen that the housekeepers prepare delicious meals from, especially Ms Catherine...along with private bedrooms/bathrooms for everyone in our party, and a very open family space that allows a carribean breeze from three of the four entrances (large sliding glass doors). The homes architecture allows guests to enjoy beautiful views of the gardens, carribean waters and sunsets. Nicky is the groundskeeper and an incredible host. He looked after all of our needs..recommended many local spots that we wouldn't have experienced without his suggestions. He and Gregory take great care of the property and the grounds are immaculate. I'd highly recommend this estate to families, couples, friends who want a true Caribbean experience with luxury.

From the minute we set foot on the property, we were in awe. You are first struck by the amazing views. All the bedrooms have their own view which is amazing. Most of our time was spent in the main area together. With all the open doors, there was always a nice breeze to cool things off. The bedrooms all had air conditioning which was nice at night. The rooms were all well appointed, spacious and comfortable as were the bathrooms. The croquet court proved to be quite the hit. Our "boys" spent many hours there playing. It was the first exposure to this game for several of our guests. They loved it. The house staff made the trip even more enjoyable. Katherine in the kitchen was so accommodating and a great cook. Nikki was everywhere. He was helpful if you needed anything. He gave us green coconuts one day for "fresh water" and showed us how to eat the gel. He had full of knowledge about the house and island. Marguerite was very helpful with excursions and details with the chef. We had Chef Didier come 2 nights. I can not say enough about how special that was. His presentation, the food and personality were all so enjoyable. The grounds are very private and lovely. We did venture down to the private beach a few times. The infinity pool is amazing as well. Overall the experience with this home was great. Booking it was easy with great communication from Micheal (owner). The property and home are so fantastic you won't want to leave. The location on the island was helpful to get to most all activities as well. You won't regret a stay at this beautiful villa!

We've just had a wonderful week at Michael's place, the location is fabulous and the views are about as good as you could ever hope for. The layout of the property is simple and works perfectly, a main atrium living room with huge open sides (patio doors open on every side) is at the centre with 4 great air-con bedrooms off each side along with an open plan outdoor kitchen and dining area. We loved watching the hummingbirds flitting about while eating breakfast. Michael's staff are a lovely bunch and made breakfast and lunch each day for us. You can walk down to pretty little beaches or just lounge round the pool at the house and enjoy the extensive grounds, including a lovely croquet lawn complete with Jaques croquet set! We did hire a car and it was really useful to be able to pop into Rodney Bay and explore further afield, this was delivered and waiting at the house for us by Michael's concierge service. All in all a perfect Caribbean retreat!
